This invitation-only event is produced by the Masters in Creative Leadership (MACL) at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. The MACL was launched in 2022 to help leaders across sectors and communities undertake necessary transformational change.

This event is the first in what will be a year-long exploration of spatial justice, aiming to examine the principles of spatial justice and to consider what it would mean and take for such principles to be centered as government agencies, developers, community stakeholders, and others imagine and realize the future landscape and social arrangements of the Twin Cities.

This dialogue will be framed by and draw upon the expertise of Paul Bauknight, MCAD Civic Scholar in Residence, and his work at the intersection of race, place, and power through his nonprofit, The Center for Transformative Urban Design.
